accidentally open i accidentally open the back of my camera exposing the back of my slide. can i still use the slide?

if you feel lucky, just try. if you dont feel lucky, then dont.

Yes you can still use your slide.
But whether it will be totally ruined or not, it's another matter.
I advice you to just try it, maybe it will have extraordinary results that you'll never expect. :)

If it's just for a short while and your whole roll didn't pop out from your camera , then why not continue shooting and then pray for extra cool results? I've screwed up before and ended up the roll had some wild mad light leaks that I like

sweet thx.

hellllo,
will there be any MAJOR light leaks if I had to unroll my film in the dark?
My holga's sponge got stuck in the film so I unrolled my film in a dark room to get the sponge out...still have chance that the pictures will just have light leaks and not totally cannot see right?
Heh:D

if its in a totally dark place. like u cant see ur fingers. u wont get light leaks. if its semi dark. maybe abit of leaks. depending on luck.

if u pop it accidentally. close it back.. get yaself a cuppa or a cold one.. get on with with life.. and hope for the best :)

Nicely said Ratnor! :D
Ya. Pop it back and continue shooting. Say.. you thought it's gone and you throw it = zero pics. You shoot and get nothing = zero pics = nothing lost. You shoot you get something = surprise bonus.
So, grab a cuppa and get on with it. Don't have to lose sleep over it. :)

I think it depends on how strong the light was when you accidentally opened the back of your cam.

my friend once accidentally opened my vivitar with a roll of film loaded inside.i panicked, thought that my roll was gone and was kinda sad for that night.haha
i continued shooting and developed the roll
turned out that only the part of the film that was exposed was spoilt.no damage done to the rest! =>

probably because light managed to shine on the part of the exposed film. i guess all of us shld be careful with it, dont really want to ruin all the precious moments captured in within our roll.
