Alright I choose Olympus.But Olympus XA or XA2 ???

Alright I choose Olympus.But Olympus XA or XA2 ???
Alright.. I have to 2 sellers one selling XA the other selling XA2..So how ? I did my research on XA.According to websites,everyone is selling XA is good. But is a difference between XA and XA2 in terms of the pictures like the mood ? I want it to look more Lomo..i really dunno XA or XA2.I know XA has aperture while XA2 just focusing... Hmmm....But i search filckr and viewed the XA pictures.Not many cross proccssed it ...and the pic look sharp and clear.While the XA2 has more pattern and contrast... Thats What I view about it. Any good advice ? if i want the pictures to look more lomo ?

xa and xa2 are two very different cameras. oly xa is a rangefinder cam. and xa2 is a zone finder camera. which u have to guesstimate the distance of ur subject to your camera. so xa is the obvious choice here. but of course it would cost more. the xa is different from the xa1. im not sure of your definition of lomo. if u mean x-pro pictures. just any film camera and slides will do.

Having used both, I'd say IMHO the XA2 does give more LCA-like photos.

a rangefinder can give you exact focusing of your subject. you have to handle one to understand how it works. do try to go for the next outing. or to the lomography second session at haw par, quite a few of us uses rangefinder cameras. a 3 zone focusing system is incoporated in the xa2. you cannot see in the viewfinder where exactly the distance the lens is focusing on. so subject sharpness may be compromised. the 3 zones are portrait 1.2m-1.8m, group 1.2m and above, landscape 6.3m and above. the subject u are shooting has to be in the zone that you choose. a very easy system to use. much like the lca. just choose point shoot.

No wonder when i go flickr and see the image taken by XA it doesnt give me that LCA feel,only a handful the rest is like normal lor..

If you cant decide, I'd suggest hold your temptations to purchase the camera. Instead meet the sellers one by one and hold the cameras in your hands. You always have the opportunity to VIEW THE CAMERA like how you go to a store and actually try a product. After viewing the cameras, make your decision.

After that I dont think I want it.I still prefer XA2. :D :D
