BBF's direct competitor Lomography.com ain't gonna let superheadz have all the fun.....
The Lubitel 166+
The new lubikin - inbuilt 35mm conversion
This lubitel takes both 120 and 35 without the hassle of changing adapters. Whatcha think? haha... it retails for an unbelievable price of US$350!

omg
ndroo- 10-09-2008
Price a bit of madness but I'm sure the built is good, since it's like the old Lub. It says it will have changeable backs later ... wat back will it need? :S
starvingjack- 10-09-2008
hahaha..maybe fuji instax backs...
Hmm, come to think of it , it IS the first camera to have inbuilt 120mm and 35mm. The rest like rolleiflex, yashica 635 and flexarets need adapters.
they are a smart bunch..haha
-EDIT-
EH!! how come the lubikin got a separate box. Liars! haha...its an adapter afterall i presume...
ndroo- 10-09-2008
hahaha..maybe fuji instax backs...
That will be the bird killer! But it ain't pretty like the birdies though.
sumlom- 10-09-2008
wah if fuji instax back will be quite cool eh.
quaisoir- 10-09-2008
wahhh...i saw this in the lomo site...i thot they don't sell this coz i can't find it...but the price tag is pretty steep i must say...
smellyjelly- 10-10-2008
lomography done it again.
damn them.
cynic- 10-10-2008
wah lau eh US$350 is crazyyyyy!
Hirata- 10-10-2008
Ya lor. It produce the same outcome as BBF. Yet that ex. The only thing is it can use 135 & 120 format. I'mma go with SuperHeadz on this one.
starvingjack- 10-10-2008
sure it is ex. but it seems like lomo invest quite abit in this..
it has an interchangeable back, 120/35 format, pano format, ability to close up to 0.8m and one thing that impress me is that it can actually rewind 120 rolls back into its original position (normal tlr can only be wind forward)! hahaha its like defying all the rules of a tlr..
mafie- 10-10-2008
the one is way sleek than bbf.
effzee- 10-10-2008
OMG. SUPER LUBI POISON. if only they just manufactured the back separately for the 166u. but the people who run lomography.com have the calibre of steve jobs in making products tempting.
scapetist- 10-10-2008
sorry, design over functionality!
BBF still winz to me. yeah~
kenshi85- 10-10-2008
To me, both are way overpriced..
No surprise LSI will quote this kinda price.. and $200 for a plastic 35mm TLR.. a bit hard for me to let go of my $$..
Let's see if i can get a free BBF.. lol..
