depends really on whether you think you'll be doing this long term. take the price of the scanner divided by 10(average price of processing + scanning at labs). and figure out if you'll be shooting more rolls than this number. if yes, it should be worth it in the long run. but take note, scanning will take some effort as well as time. im not really sure about what scanners are good, but the last time i researched, a canoscan 8800f should do fine. you might want to check out the pc show for offers. do look out for other brands as well.

triple D doesn't do b&w 120 right? Do you guys know anywhere that does 120 b&w and scan? Care to share the price? KT charges $12 for scanning 120...feel its quite pricey.

Hi there, Im from the philippines, but im going to singapore next week to work. I'm gonna bring my Holga 120CFN along, and i'm very thankful that you have this forum. Here in the Philippines there is a photo lab center that lomographers love. It's called Digiprint. They don't have E-6 processing facility so every 120 and 135 slide films are cross-proccessed! The good thing is they develop the films and scan it directly to CD. Rates are roughly SGD5.00 for first film and SGD2.00 for every succeeding films up to 5 rolls. Anything of that kind here in SG? See you soon guys.

don't think any lab in singapore has that sort of "bulk discount", but the aforementioned triple D and KT (if i'm not wrong) both offer a 10% discount for lomotion members...
