Colorsplash Flash Problem
my colour film went loose in the colorsplash casing and i can't get them out.. i've tried to take them out but its quite difficult since the flash cannot be stripped opened easily. any solutions?

it's easy to strip the colorsplash. i've done it lots of time when i was using it. but then, too much is enough so i settle for the sun.

hi nic, try using a pincer if you are not comfortable tearing the flash up. else, at needle and lotsa patience will do the same job as well. if you are willing to tear it up~ basically you just needa pop the turning wheel carefully, it will come out. but~ it's all held by plastic, too violent and you will need superglue.

i've just fixed mine cuz coloured filters inside got folded. there's only 1 screw at the based of the flash, remove that then just rip it open slowly. the mechanism is pretty simple to figure out. be careful not to lose the spring inside tho. good luck! :wink:

i unscrewed the back and popped everything out. managed to remove the offending film and put everything back without much hassle. i jus feel the film thing is damn flimsy, once the film gets dislodged from thegroove(which realli isn't too difficult) the film will get folded and everything.. see already abit heart pain oso.. anyway. thanks icenik, jestre and escapologist for the help ya =) back to playing the new fe2 :D
