Elikon 535 Roll 02
Hey, after a failure of my first roll of film I'm quite glad I didn't repeat the same mistake. Elikon 535 + Konica Centuria 400 + Colorsplash Flash Chakra Processed at DDD. And the erroneous film winding created the double exposures and overlaps. 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Me likey #3. :) Your accidental mx quite nice... on your 3rd roll too! :)

Thanks thanks, I like #3 too, haha, that's like the only nice photo that came out. :?

The rest are not too bad also what. Don't be so hard on yourself. :) How's the camera like? Easy to use? Focusing like the holga isit?

echeleon- 09-11-2008

Hmmm, if you've used some other film cameras, I don't think this is too difficult. I've not really used a Holga, but I do think both have the portrait/group/landscape focusing. And this has both weather dials and numbering for aperture. Can't do double exposure, that's about the only thing it differs from the Holga that really matters to me. Haha.

mind explaining how you wound the film wrongly to cause the mx? i just got this camera myself and don't wanna do the same thing unintentionally... at the same time it'd be cool to have a mx function if i want! heh...

fuzk- 09-11-2008

hm.. okay okay. Most interesting.. yeah. do share on the accidental mx. Heh.

ahmadessien- 09-11-2008

ah soccer! nice! i see straw hat fedora!

TP FTW hahahaha the mx actually makes some of the shots look interesting so dun be hard on urself... inperfectness is perfection in an inperfect art like lomography... hahahaha

Hmmm, okay, well.. for starters.. I don't really know if I'm inserting the film into the camera correctly, that might be the cause of the overlaps. What I think is happening that the advancing knob gets stuck or gets very tight to advance, and I'll press the silver button at the bottom of the camera to 'loosen' the knob. You know the button you press to rewind when you're done with the roll. So you can advance for another shot but the film probably did not catch and advance a full frame. Long story I know, I suck at summaries and explaining. And I do like the overlaps, just maybe not so much of the individual photo elements. :? And I'm surprised you can spot someone from their straw hat! Haha. I don't really know her except that she's my junior.

Nice try overall. #3 really nice

echeleon- 09-12-2008

Well, the drawback to this is that.. you probably won't use all 36 exposures..

oh how come?
