improved IR camera
finally fixed the hotspot issue for my IR camera now the images are cleaner :D all IR photos done with point and shoot camera, mod for infrared photography it can also do IR video :P those interested can contact camera hospital for details of the mod on pocket cameras its a lot cheaper then doing it on a DSLR :D

looks good! how was the hotspot issue fixed?

you mean you have to mod the camera as well? thought all you had to do was just slap on an IR filter and you're good to go with post processing in PS. i think i'll just try IR film first. heh. nice pics btw, love the 2nd and third one.

Love the first 3. 1st and 2nd don't look like Singapore. :D I think still got a bit right? Ah well. beautiful pics! :D

all the pics are taken in Singapore :) the camera had to be mod internally to fix the hotspot problem its just that not many people wanted to do the mod on a pocket camera...they think its a waste of time cause you don't get the control of a DSLR but i think the results proves its worth with a pocket camera i get "live IR" :D you see everything in a different light

so that means mod already cannot take normal pics?

tropicalrips- 08-26-2008

so that means mod already cannot take normal pics? for my pocket camera, i can still take normal colour photos :) because the IR filter is still on the outside the colours may be a little off when taking normal photos outdoor because the camera is seeing too much IR light when i remove the filter...but thats only for certain spectrum of colours (those that are close to basic colours eg.purple looks more blue) i would say my camera now is about 80% normal
