LC-A+ vs Vivitar uws seemed like the difference between LC-A+ vs vivitar uws is that lc-a + has variable iso, fixed 32mm, variable aperture and shutter speed, has multiple exposure switch while vivitar usw has fixed iso, fixed aperture and shutter speed and no multiple exposure switch. Is that right? sorry i'm stuck between these two cameras, one is super ex and the other is super cheap. Which one would you recommend though both produce the same result - vignetting and wide angle view (just that vivitar a little wider than LC-A+) ?

get an xa2 instead u got variable asa settings with lightmeter no multiple exposure though...

vivitar is just a simple click and shoot mechanism camera. no varying speed, single arperture and no light meter. the worse, no bulb mode also.
so no night shots. worse off than the holga i think.
lca gives u alot more control as u can control the arperture and it has an excellent lightmeter. so if you wanna shoot more an get consistenly good results, get the lca. a plus is that it can be used anytime of the day and night. as long as long exposures use tripod.

lc-a+ is only available through lomography.com or lomographyasia.com or through objectifs / ruby / basheer and other local retailers that sells lomography items or 2nd hand from buysell threads here or clubsnap.
other than that you can opt to buy yourself an lc-a from ebay and modify it. there was an old thread on how to modify your lc-a into lc-a+ probably about a year ago. dig it up if you would like to. :)

ruby and basheer sell the lca+ at the same price as objectifs, yes?

here's the mod thread. as for the pricing, i am not sure. ask others who bought it through local retailers. i bet most of us here buy our lc-as online.

eh... most people tend to forget this point..
not functions.. the lens oso makes a difference.. lca has a better lens than a uws..
just like how cx2 is better than a lca.

thanks for the link! was thinking of getting a LC-A+ when i get my bonus in a few months but having seconds thoughts now... it seems the LC-A is more durable eh?
i really like the ability of the LC-A+ to take addon lenses and all though! that and the MX feature, i don't dare to do my own mods, especially on a camera as expensive as the LC-A... damn.

get the lc-a+ and take good care of it and it will prove it's worth to you.

yes i agree.. go for the lca + there are more add ons to it.. unless you wanna play with aperture settings or you care about the cosmetics then get a lca..
