marina bay..
Thanks to funksoulava and toydoll for the free tix to the marina bay fireworks festival. Managed to watch the event for both days. Here are some noobish fireworks shots on the first day. Taken using 40d. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Second day shots kinda sux due to location and it was raining.. Will update this thread once i select the better few.. Thanks for viewing ... :)

too tight. i guess u blacken the background to hide the smoke but doesnt work for me. u crop it too tight. really ugly seeing dos few ends got chop off.

woah bro fireworks is something not many ppl good at. cause it need hands on experience! i like yours though :) i always have many fail attempts with fireworks! :P

thanks.. tikkles,platform-7,djtang escapologist : 40d is my dad's .. i'm just borrowing..:) gilaman : yeah abit tight crop but no choice i'm shooting at 17mm most of the time and it still is tight..if only i had a 10 - 22 mm :lol:

Very nice sharp captures... but the fireworks don't *feel* bright... if you know what I mean. I can't put my finger on it.
