yup for 120s i tear out a small piece from the film box and fold it once or twice. hmmm, so i guess it shouldn't be tight at all? meaning my 35mm film should be winding up nicely right? cross-fingers.
guess i'll leave out the cardboard on my next 120. i've read somewhere that the newer holgas have better construction and they don't need the cardboard anymore, but i just put it in case. kiasu singaporean lol.

if you're not kiasu you're not singaporean.
anyways might want to try with a thinner piece to make things safe.

hmm.. maybe only mine doesnt lo.. *shrugs* i feel that there isnt a need yet though.. mine's already quite tight.. i tried to stick cardboards b4.. but i ended up taking them out after 1st few shots(i've got a changing bag on hand) cos it kinda make it hard to wind.. i guess i shdnt generalise the previous statement.. cos after all.. different holgas have different characteristics.. hope u can pardon me for that lil mis-sentence..

Got the no. of clicks question as well.
I did my 35mm mod on my 120N Holga. Without the mask. No adaptor.
Looking at this; http://photondetector.com/tools_ref/135-advance/
I'm still a tad confused. It seems that with the mask, it gives more shots? Why is that so? What's the diff between with mask and without mask. Which mask shld b used?
Finally, so.. how many clicks should i turn for no mask, no adaptor?
