No. of clicks for holga 35mm adapter
holga alert holga alert! i've been using 120mm for my past 2 rolls so im a little confused with new adapter. i just got a 35mm adaptor and am wondering how many clicks to load and start advancing. came across this website http://photondetector.com/tools_ref/135-advance/ and see that it ended at the 24th frame. Q1: is the adapter called a 6x6 mask? Q2: so if i follow the guide on e website, i'll be able to shoot 36 frames? Please advise. Thanks a lot! :D :D

when u load the film,turn till u feel safe that its not exposed. then make a marking on the turning thingy. upon snaping a pic,turn perfectly a revolution. claydote measured and its accurate.

your adaptor is not the 6x6 mask. you 6x6 and 6x4.5 mask is for 120, even though you can mod the holga and use 35mm on your holga without the 35mm adaptor it is not guaranteed that the website is a sure-work way for every holga user, but try it out and find your method via trial and error

if you bought the adapter from perly ... all you need is to turn one round.... should be about 36 clicks that will advance to the next frame..

i think should be the same as from what i know there's only three types of 35mm adapter for holga.. the 35mm normal adapter, 35mm panoramic adapter and the 35mm superheadz adapter. superheadz no need to count clickz already. panoramic adapter not sure whats the number as i dun have one.. normal one should be abt 1 full round or abt 36 clicks

depends on how much u turn at the start.

From what I saw on other websites, they say the number of clicks will be lesser after a few shots.

supposedly yes but its safer to just turn 1 round so as the images doesn't overlap.... labs would most probably do manual scanning for the negatives

should be ard 1 1/2 rds or 42 clicks.. can definitely turn slightly more if you want to

went down to penisular and that lady at Ruby turned 26 clicks for me saying that's e no. for 35mm adapter. see how it will turn out and i will update if that's e correct number of clicks here in near future! thanks for all your help guys! :D:D

use what adapter? just a kitchen sponge and 34 clicks will do. Been doing that for a couple of years without problem.
