WAH! Awesome street photos! heh.. very very nice exposures. #22 is funny. Looks like the guy is inside the thing.. What RF you use? Wah man, looks like inbuilt rangefiner good stuff(if it is one).. my rollei35 too many settings to set.. hard to take moving ppl. Use external rangefinder still got to transfer it to the camera.

oh man. that's a disgusting thought. hahaha. getting one for sure... it's just.. how soon. hahaa. then I need you guys to show me the light too! heh. Yeah. I recognised him from playground. :D Am getting a bessa at the end of the year hopefully, if nothing goes financially wrong. Hopefully a R4M with 28mm F2 lens. I prey hard some dude will sell off the R4M body 2nd hand at the end of the year  U could start RF using Yashica GSN, its a aperture priority camera, so ya, just set the aperture & U are good to go. Or U can get something fully manual like a bessa. A Fed would be nice or U could try a Zorki 4K. Can get them at a good price on ebay or there is some reputiable websites from Czech Republic selling fully re-furbished Zorkis, Feds etc. at good prices, can check those out. I do not have the links anymore, must check with invisibl3 Learning how to focus with the tiny focusing patch on rangefinders can be fun & a real pain during the learning process but its all worthwhile! scapetist : thanks dude!

Thanks alot! Am using a Yashica GS. U might wanna try hyperfocusing. Trust me, hyperfocusing is even faster than a DSLR's auto focus. Thats what I used to take most of the moving people shots.

52, is in sg? kimono lady, nice casual portraits btw! Yea, full kimono!! She just suddenly walked past me & sumlom, so I took a shot but crap, it ended up blur coz it was really fast! Than Sumlom & I decided to follow her, to take a shot from behind her, she realise that we were "stalking her" she freaked out & ran like Usain Bolt in hopes of getting an olympic gold in the 100 & 200m dash!

Oooo.. okay. I know about that. Just that I keep forgetting the settings (f4 at 5ft for mine i think..) and I usually do indoor shooting so at f4.. the shutter speeds become super slow, esp relative to my neice's crawling speed. haha.. Thanks for the headsup.. I'm never knew the Yashica GS can do this, I really quite noob man. haha..

Maybe asa200 or asa400, than adjust the light meter accodingly. No problems, everyone was a noob once, I still am too

Like you said, if all goes well, it'll be yours at the end of the year! :D Yea, am keeping my fingers crossed. If budget goes well, it would be R4M with 28mm F2 lens, if not think I'll take R2M with 35mm F1.4 lens

fuzk- 10-08-2008

now.. to be honest.. I have no idea what's the difference between a R4M and a R2M.. but I do know a 1.4 lens is quite wow. haha.

now.. to be honest.. I have no idea what's the difference between a R4M and a R2M.. but I do know a 1.4 lens is quite wow. haha. Its the frame lines in the camera. R2M has 35, 50, 75mm frame lines R4M has 21, 28, 25mm frame lines R4M was build more for wide lenses. the M & A at the back basically means M-mechanical, A-aperture priority. of course A versions can shoot in full manual too. The only difference is that A versions need battery to work, no battery means camera is a white elephant. M version are fully mechanical, the battery is just used for light metering, it still can work perfectly without batteries.

angkong is tattoo, and gwailan is gwailan lor. maybe i spell wrong. haha

fuzk- 10-08-2008

yeah. I read the difference between what a A and M is. hm.. frame lines.. I think I must see to know exactly. Haha. I figured it's probably like a 'grid'.. if I'm not wrong la. DAMN. I should get a rangefinder. and er.. gwailan is when you see someone's face you want to slap type.
