you bring someone who speaks their language along. or you can use: 1. sign language 2. foul langauge

sapienz- 01-22-2008

Techincally correct but from what i know photo hub is the only place that does e6 processing in singapore and they don't do negative crossing. Sprockets - probably only DDD, unless you do your own mask to do your own scanning. Bring a chinese friend with you.

So you did not do xpro there? as in 35mm to slide chem? Or did you just do slide/120 to 35mm chem? Will appreciate the help, thanks.

sapienz- 01-22-2008

i think you need to read the forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1885>Starter Kit For Newcomers. ASK after you did some reading on your own... I don't understand where the 120 and 35mm thing came into the picture... when you were talking about xpro

Ok i want my 35mm processed in E6 Where can I do such? Hope its clearer this time... apologies for the confusion

escapologist- 01-23-2008

Ruby does E-6. There's a lab at 2nd level of Peninsular Shopping Center that does E-6 also but I'm not very sure if its still available.

LARA- 01-23-2008

fida, your 35mm is negative or slide films? you can actually check out the labels on your 35mm film. if the labels state E-6, your films are slide films and are processed using E-6 chemical. if it states C-41, your films are negative films and are normal processed using C-41 chemical. x-pro is when you process your slides films with C-41 instead of E-6. or vices versa. if still in doubt, read up lomotion threads, wiki or just google it up.

fida- 01-23-2008

Its a negative So I'm looking for a place that can process it in E6

sumlom- 01-23-2008

triple D at burlington square does x-pro(slides in c41) thats where i guess most of us go to. but for negs process in e6. i guess most shops wont do it. cause it will contaminate the chemicals and its a waste to them.

go_yy- 01-24-2008

Xpro is just doing slides in c41... just tell them process your film in c41 as per normal... be it slides or negatives im going to ask a stupid question. does it mean any lab can process slides in c41?

sapienz- 01-24-2008

Thats nt a stupid question.... BY RIGHT yes... ALL labs that does C41 processing can xpro your slides But those who have done it before usually choose not to... I heard from some lab owners that when you do slides XPRO, it usually results in a lot of leftover residue after Developing. And in the end, the chemical need to be changed quite frequently. That also explains why the labs which does Xpro charges a bit more... i think its to cover the cost of replacing the chemical on a regular basis

go_yy- 01-24-2008

ic.. thank a lot for your explanation...

locoloco- 05-01-2008

ok.... now, I'm confused. I've got some Agfa Slides that indicated using e-6 to process... So I can't bring it to triple D as the uncle uses c-41? Enlighten me pls!

Ratnor- 05-01-2008

yeah ya spot on on that bro. all confusion is settled :) most photo lab does c-41 for negatives. so now, u got a slide ( uses e-6 ) and wan to x-pro it. so u send it over to the photolab with ya slide so they will x-pro with c-41. skali i also wrong ah.. haha cock up sia :P but from what i know thats how it works! :)
