I just came back from there
1. They never heard of any other kind of processing other than their machine that does everything AUTOMATICLY
2. They dun even do sprockets
3. They've never seen a Holga (may not be relevant but her reaction was priceless)
A lady who barely spoke english served me and I think she exposed my film for a bit! And she quote me $4 for normal processing. You sure or not they do xpro?
sapienz- 01-22-2008
Xpro is just doing slides in c41...
just tell them process your film in c41 as per normal... be it slides or negatives
Sprockets scanning is not easy to do, Uncle Mike from DDD made his own sprocket mask to scan sprockets for us...
Don't take sprockets scanning for granted
Don't think i know all the names of all the cameras out there. My reaction would probably be priceless as well...
I probably dun need to speak english to serve someone either.
fida- 01-22-2008
I'm sorry but I thought xpro also meant i can do 35mm with slides chemicals
So I guess for the sprockets, only DDD does it?
How am I suppose to communicate with a non-english speaking staff?
gilaman- 01-22-2008
been ages sia since i when there.
what i usually tell the lady was process normally. i explain to them in layman's term for them to understand. refrain lomo vocab with old aunties.
