Polaroid SX 70 Land Camera Sonar or SX 70 Land camera ?
Hi all, I was just wondering if its hard to focus manually using the SX 70 land camera ? hmm...Or should i get the Sonar one...

haha yesyes .Same over here.Oh man is great to collect that piece of camera man although I know the films polaroid 600 is gonna stop production in 2009.Oh well is not like u take everyday,maybe free time can always take out and play with it.Cool man sumore it folds its portable !!

sonar can AF and manual focus.

and sx70 uses time zero film. you would needa mod the cam to take 600 film. sonar version more prone to faults. normal version only has manual focus. side note: sx70s are old cameras. if you are buying them from ebay, and the seller sell them "as is", you are having a 30~40% chance to get a faulty camera. so buy them cheap. the guaranteed working ones will be more exp. but once again~ you will never be able to take sx70 like shots if you had knew the camera thru online. good luck hunting.

If u really fancy a SX-70 like folding polaroid, u can try to hunt down for a Polaroid SLR 680/690.. It's exactly like SX-70 Sonar but it takes 600 film instead of time zero film. But it is even more rare than SX-70.. Don't think u can find it locally easily.. and it's not cheap either.. be prepared to pay at least S$250 for it.. Took me me 8 ebay auctions to win one.. but mine came in like new that works perfectly.. so it really depends on luck..
