Process and Scan help. hey guys, just got my fisheye and wanna ask a few questions.
theres a standard photo developing shop near my place at serangoon gardens.
if lets say they do scanning services, what will the outcome of the scan be like? 4r sized scans of each picutre all burnt onto a cd ?
i'm abit confused!

Why not you ask them about their services cause I don't think any of us works there.

no what i meant was how is scanning like?
because i've never tried developing + scanning so i'm pretty confused.
like i saw at another thread that colorlab or somewhere, scanning was 5 bucks per roll.
so what does it actually mean ? :?

Scanning: Either they scan from the film or they scan from the print.

why not you just try it out once and go through a process called experiential learning. im sure you wouldnt mind spending a small amount to try it out.

yea i dont mind spending, just that i thought you guys here are lomo veterans, so would have experience with the outcome for scanning.
sorry if im asking too much!

different shop give different services. some shop scan from the film and some scan from the prints. the quality of the scanned images also varies depending on their scanner capabilities. and there is a slight difference in image qualities when scanned from film and those that are scanned from the prints.
scanning from film is cheaper. scanning from the prints is more expensive as they have to get the picture printed to scan it. but scanning from the print has better quality. the sizes of the images also varies from shop to shop. if you want a better image quality, the size would be larger.
so i guess you still have to go to the shop and find out what services they offer cause i dont work there.
