shooting on a holga with lens cap on?
i've shot a roll of 120 on my holga halfway when to my horror i realized i forgot to take off the lens cap! must be too many years spent with digital argh. anyways i was just wondering would it be possible to reuse the 120? maybe unload it and roll it back up? in complete darkness would it be possible, since technically i havent shot anything on it?

yeah,u can unload it and roll it and again. but did u remember which frame u shoot with the lens cap on?

i think he started with the lens cap on and never took it off. that way, you still can shoot, cos your film hasnt been exposed to anything yet!

yup smellyjelly's right, i ceased shooting once i realized that, in case of complications. but now that u mention it, i could have just continued shooting and went back to the first few frames to shoot again, right? but what's done is done, thanks! at least i can still salvage the roll, haha.

I read so many times abt people leaving the lens cap on, so when i got my holga, i threw the lens cap away to be on the safe side :)

hahah a few friends also throw away the cap, but i think stylo leh. hahahaha

anyone care to donate a lens cap to me? :P

erm.. it might turn out different.. cause with the cap on, it doesnt mean light dun go in.. maybe those shots in front when u shoot again might have light leaks..

Yeah be mindful of the lens cap. Well I feel unsafe without my lens cap (lost it in Bangkok) because I'm afraid things might scratch the lenses or some sort. Compared to my friends' Holgas which have its lens cap, my lenses are way much more dusty than theirs. Who dowan lens cap gimme leh lol. :B
