Deep in the rural heart of Russia, an amazing discovery has been made. A quantity of 500 Soviet-era deadstock Smena 8m cameras has been unearthed inside a old warehouse (right behind the horse stables). Whether these were meant to be part of an enormous time capsule or stockpiled for a future day of urgent-retro-Lomography, we’ll never know. But we can say this: the whole quantity has been bought and sent to our Lomographic Headquarters. These little plastic and metal beauties are untouched, unspoiled, and safe inside their original packaging. As an original deadstock Smena is one of the most sought-after jewels in the world of Russian cameras, many of you already know what this means:
