In partnership with Staple Design, we're putting together a brand new Lomographic book and custom Colorsplash camera to be released this summer. The book will investigate the six "chakras" of Colorsplashing. These are mysterious inner forces which link up certain Colorsplash colors to certain emotions, motivations, and activities. The Colorsplash Chakras are: PURPLE COLORSPLASH CHAKRA Peace, tranquility, and closeness BLUE COLORSPLASH CHAKRA Music, nightlife, parties, and gatherings GREEN COLORSPLASH CHAKRA Nature, Life, and Animals YELLOW COLORSPLASH CHAKRA Activities, diversions, and sports ORANGE COLORSPLASH CHAKRA Consumption, eating, buying, and collecting RED COLORSPLASH CHAKRA Sex, Passion, Love, and Strength We're looking for high-res Colorsplash images that fit both the color and theme. Things like GREEN pictures of dogs, ORANGE pictures of beer drinking or sale shopping, RED pictures of hot lingerie, and BLUE pictures of that wild-ass party. You've got one month to submit your best shots - so please try to shoot some new stuff in addition to rummaging through your archives. Every accepted participant will get enough piggypoints for a free copy of the book and credited publication in what will truly be an amazing hardcover edition. And six top winners will additionally receive a hand-signed piece of the upcoming collaborative Colorsplash camera package.
