haha, i to be quite honest i am a wee bit disappointed. i mean afterall it was one of the reasons i got this LC-A. yeah jimmy! im being dead serious! i'll show you how well the bugger cut it! i wouldn't have even noticed had saviorjosh not pointed it out! next outing show you man! not to worry saviorjosh it certainly not dampened my spirits by a lot, im thankful that you pointed it out! at least if i were to sell it, i wont sell to someone and say its a lomoboy LC-A only to be accused to being a cheater! so props to you saviorjosh! you've got a good eye for things! hey wilmer! actually im quite happy with my shots from the russian font LC-A. im still in a dilemma as to which LC-A to sell. im pretty in love with the cryllic fonts and the "cccp" logo beside the viewfinder. might eventually decide to keep it i guess? just bring the new one out for a dry run lah. haha! and mick, no way am i giving it away. no, not even to you. haha!

you might want to flip the Lens inside. I'm currently saving up for an LC-A+ to reverse the lens inside. I joined ePug's group at flickr and currently have less than 10 members cause it's very very new. Once ePug has posted step by step tutorial, I'll get it down here.

Wah happening leh buy LC-A+ just to flip the lens. Go buy Vivitar for a cheaper alternative maybe? Another S$280 can bring me out of Singapore and have a good shootout/holiday.

Oh haha. sori. You might want to reverse one of the lens of your LC-A. I'd say reverse the lens of your so called 'fake' L-CA. But it's just a suggestion though cause I'm planning on that.

i know who is addicted to ebay! hahaha! no man, i was just wondering about the settings of a LC-A in ASA settings instead of GOST. i bought the one with the cryllic fonts in the first place cos i never knew that the settings was in GOST. but i've come to realise that actually even though its in GOST, it doesnt turn out that bad. i might end up selling the "russian font" LC-A i guess?

hi all, newbie here.. and I just read about the issue on ranon’s lca.. I also have a lca, serial number starts 89xxxxx.. and it also has the lomoboy.. upon closer inspection, it doesn’t look like a sticker (hope I’m right here), in fact there’s a few small scratches on lomoboy (poorboy) where the paint is off.. it has English words and in ASA.. how I got my lca: off clubsnap for $150 in 2005 (cheapest I could find). It came in the blue box and manual, similar to that in ranon’s pic, just that the condition wasn’t as good as it was 2nd (or I dunno how many) hand. puzzling since lomoboy shouldn’t have been in existence in 1989.. anyone??

and oh btw if it stated ASA but mine is NOMO the old version so it's using ASA or GOST now? no camera prints GOST on the casing right?

eh not the russian fonts.. its in english, 'lomo'. but its 1989 with lomoboy on the viewfind cover..
