Uber noobie questions
so i'm new to this whole lomo thing, I just need to know about the processing part, you can't use ordinary films and go to ordinary shops right? can't someone tell me why? I know it's gonna be hella long but please? for a new born lomo-er?

by ordinary i think you mean negative film? yes you can, any photo lab can process c 41 negative (ordinary) films.

like using it on a holga?

it really depends on the lab u are going to. hard to define 'ordinary shops'. most neighbourhood labs can process almost all kinds of films (35mm or 120) even when they dun have the equipment. they just send it out, which may take some time. So they can scan the images into jpeg format?

yeah they scan your pics to jpeg files into a cd after they develop ur film. costs abt 3+ and 3+ usually depending where u go. xpro and b/w probably cost more to develop, but scanning shld be the same price.. grace optical is at sunset way, at clementi area. hope that helps.

beware though, price ranges from lab to lab. the lab at my house charges a bloody 8.90 for C41 processing. talk about ripoff.
