Yes
naresh.inc- 06-01-2008
so do i tell them to ? or will it develop as such?
escapologist- 06-02-2008
no you just keep quiet and they can read your mind.
naresh.inc- 06-02-2008
which means what? they mask out the area to process? they don process the whole roll?
alvincrew- 06-02-2008
dude. i think u mean scanning the sprockets. your neighbourhood labs wont usually do it for you because they probably dun have a manual scanner/software or duno what the hell is sprockets effect.
bring it to 3D, one of the cheapest and fas-*test*-('") place.

yeah i am trying "sprocket" photography but i down to print the photos i just wanna process the negs.
juel- 06-02-2008
ya, triple D does that... just need to tell them.

what i would suggest best is that invest in your own scanner. on the long run it would be much cheaper if you're going to stick to film photography for a long time.

i had a roll of panoramic 35mm from my holga printed at 3ple d like earlier this year.
dude charged me an extra 7 bucks on top of everything just to do that extra 'cropping' on the computer. nehnehpok.
so total i paid $17 for developing, scanning to cd and his 'cropping'.
maybe you'd like to think again? haha.

Hello Pfurr,
Cost of developing & scanning are in this forum and also in my shop. Paroramic 35mm are scan manually and it take up a lot of our time.
Next time if you are not comfortable with our pricing then dont let us do it for you instead of complaining that our service is expensive after it is done.
We have our cost of running the shop.
Thank you

haha.. i self scan my films mostly. and knowing the time involved, i wouldnt help do the scanning even if I'm paid 12 bucks per roll.
