X-prp in computer and picture hi, i will like to know that will the colors and "feel" of the pictures defer from what i see from the computer screen and on the developed photos?
Thanks

in my point of view the colors and contrast might be different as due to ur monitor settings why not print a copy of your shot and which you compare it with the exact one in your cpu if you really wan to find out

Most likely, it will.
It depends on your monitor's colour settings(I think)
Also it depends on the printer from your printing shop.

I know it's an old thread.. but yeah. Your screen might not be calibrated properly to see the 'correct' colours. Even if it is, the print-out will defer slightly if you send it for printing. If you print it using your own normal printer, the difference will be even greater because your printer isn't a photo printer.
So.. yeah. Haha.

Normally, the prints will turn out slightly darker if your monitor is calibrated correctly.

the hardcore thing to do:
- get color profile from the lab you use
- calibrate your monitor with a spyder or other monitor calibration tool and color chart -*test*-('") image
the -*test*-('") image will ideally have a full grey scale on a color photo with sRGB colors in it
it can take a looooong time~
also have to duplicate an exact lighting condition when you want exact colors again when you are working on the image. (i.e. if room is lit when calibrating, it must be lit up next time. daylight? then daylight)
oh~ you will need to recalibrate the monitor once every 3 months. (for the hardcores)
