Terms and Conditions
In receiving the package for Lomo Tour Singapore (HST) 2009, you hereby agree to abide by all Terms and Conditions set by the organizers of this event. The “organizers” refer to the people who are planning for HST 2009. It is assumed that every official participant of HST 2009 has read through the Rules & Regulations before agreeing to receive the package. Ignorance of the Terms and Conditions as set by the organizers will not be considered a valid reason should there be any participant found to be going against these terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions are as follows:
1. There are 25 participants in HST 2009, and 4 other names in the Keep-In-View (KIV) list. These 25 participants are required to pay 10 SGD (Singapore dollars) each for entry into the competition.
2. In the case where a participant fails to turn up for a meet-up to receive the HST 2009 package, or fails to respond within 48 hours of the last attempt to contact him/her, he/she will be automatically disqualified, unless decided otherwise by the organizers. In the case of a participant’s disqualification, the next person on the KIV list will replace the participant that has been disqualified, regardless of location. Should the new participant also fail to respond within 48 hours of the last attempt to contact him/her, he/she will, too, be automatically disqualified, unless decided otherwise by the organizers. The next person on the KIV list will replace the disqualified participant, and so on.
3. There will be an HST 2009 package passed around from participant to participant, in the order stated as follows:

8. FUZK
9. CYANWATER

Participants are identified by their usernames as registered on the official LOMOTION (Singapore) website. This is based on trust of the organizers, and any person who seems to, and/or is found to violate that trust in any way, will be dealt with however the organizers wish to, possibly including, but not limited to compensation in any manner.
4. The HST 2009 package will be passed around in the order listed above in (2), excluding the KIV list unless the situation calls for it. The HST 2009 package contains:
1. 1 black Holga 120N camera with the 8storeytree stamp
2. 1 black Holga 120N camera lens cap
This is attached to the official HST 2009 camera.
3. 1 Holga 120N camera strap
This is attached to the official HST 2009 camera.
4. 1 6x6 Holga square mask
This is placed within the official HST 2009 camera.
5. 1 Lomo Coloursplash Flash
This is NOT to be tampered with in any way. Doing so will be considered an act of violation of the Terms and Conditions set by the organizers, and a criminal act of vandalism.
6. 1 Holga 120 Fisheye lens adaptor
This is NOT to be tampered with in any way. Doing so will be considered an act of violation of the Terms and Conditions set by the organizers, and a criminal act of vandalism.
7. 25 unused rolls of 120mm (medium format) film
Each roll will be individually wrapped up, concealing the brand, film type, and the ISO. Do note that the number of rolls of film will go down by 1 with every participant, hence the number 25 is accurate at the moment when the first participant receives the HST 2009 package.
8. 1 notebook
This notebook is free for use by any participant, organizer, or host of HST 2009. The purpose of this book is to record a participant’s reflections from Lomo Tour 2009. Participants are required to state the name of the film obtained after unwrapping a chosen roll, the date, and their official LOMOTION (Singapore) forum username in the book, at the start of their entry. However, several rules apply:
1. No tearing of pages out from the book.
2. No posing difficulties of any sort for the following participants. (difficulties like: not enough pages for the rest of the participants, pages glued together, ink seeping through the pages thus hindering the abilities of the following people to use clean pages, etc).
3. No writing or pasting, or including in any way, any sort of material that is directly unrelated to HST 2009.
9. 25 1st-page HST posters printed on 4R
Each participant is required to take one (the one with his/her username on the back), as a momento for participating in HST 2009. Do note that the number of HST 1st-page posters will go down by 1 with every participant that takes it, hence the number 25 is accurate at the moment when the first participant receives the HST 2009 package.
10. 2nd-page HST posters printed on 4R
Each participant is required to take one (the one with his/her username on the back), as a momento for participating in HST 2009. 11. A copy of the Terms & Conditions and “How to Play” in a clear folder
Participants are to read the copy of the Terms & Conditions during the meet-up with the previous participant. The previous participant is to hold on to the package until the participant has stated that he/she is ready to receive the package. The receiving of the package by a participant is taken by the organizers to signify the agreement to all the Terms and Conditions set. When a participant has finished reading the Terms and Conditions, he/she is to put the copy back into the clear folder, and hold it until he/she meets the next participant. Tampering with the copy of Terms & Conditions in any way is considered an act of violation of the Terms and Conditions set by the organizers, and a criminal act of vandalism. The “How to Play” instructions are to be taken as strict guidelines in participating in HST 2009.
12. 1 clear Zip-Lock bag to store used films
After a participant has finished shooting his/her roll of film, he/she is required to mark the spool of the film (NOT the film itself) with their number, and leave it inside the Zip-Lock bag. Participants are NOT allowed to take out any roll of film for any purpose, including, but not limited to sabotage of others’ films. In the case that a participant’s film is considered to be tampered with by any other person, the organizers reserve all rights to cancel the entire tour and deem it failed, with no compensation to any party.
13. Checklist of items to check for in the HST 2009 Package printed on 4R
5. The organizers, sponsor and host for the HST 2009 shall not be liable for:
1. any damages, injuries, regardless of the cause, of any participant, AND/OR
2. errors, inaccuracies, or omissions of the terms and conditions without notice.
6. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change by the organizers without notice, from time to time in our sole discretion.
HOW TO PLAY
DAY ONE
1. When you are at the meet-up to collect your camera, ask for the clear folder with the official copy of the Terms and Conditions first!
2. Read it.
3. Whenever you’re ready, say “I am ready to receive the Holga: Singapore Tour 2009 Package!”.
4. When you’ve received the HST package, check to make sure that everything on the inside is in order. Check that you have everything. Use the checklist included as a guide. Check that the number of rolls of film inside the box is correct (adds up to 25). Check that the camera has not been tampered with inappropriately. Check that the camera is the CORRECT one, it should the official 8storeytree logo on it! Check whatever you need to check, because if we find that something isn’t quite right, it will be YOUR responsibility. (:
5. Done checking? Tell the participant “Everything is in order.”
6. Now, pick a roll of film in front of the participant that passed you the package. Don’t cheat by unwrapping and rewrapping! We’ve made sure of that!
7. Done choosing? Let’s update Azzzy! Send him a msg via sms to inform him that you’ve gotten the package, everything is in order! Tell the participant who gave you the package to tell Azzzy the same thing!
8. Done smsing? Dismiss the participant who gave you the package. Goodbye!
9. When Azzzy replies to your msg, he will reply with the contact number of the next person you are to pass the HST 2009 Package to. Note it down somewhere, don’t lose it!
10. Make an appointment on Day One with the next participant on the list to pass him/her the HST 2009 Package on Day Four (Day Three if you wish.)!(must explain abit why day three, cause ppl know have 5days to take pics
11. Now that you’ve chosen your film, and the package is now with you, you are free to do whatever you want! Go home, paste a mask on the mask, paste cellophane paper over the lens, multiexpose, do anything you want! Basically, you just gotta fulfil these requirements:
* Record in the logbook the date you received the HST 2009 Package, the film you chose, and your username.
* Leave your mark on the camera. Please be considerate and leave enough space for the rest of the people! And do NOT “add-on” to others’ marks. Pick on your own space! Also, do not leave any mark that will affect the quality, effect, or anything else that will affect the camera’s natural abilities. That means, no scratching the lens, no painting the lens, no pasting cellophane over the lens PERMANENTLY or anything to that extent.
* Leave your mark on the box!
* And, as requested by our proud sponsor of the camera, 8storeytree, take a picture of the camera AFTER you’ve left your mark! To take this idea further, take a picture of EVERYTHING. As many pictures as you want! “Before-After” is fine too! Take a picture of your mod, take a picture of your mask, take a picture of you, anything will do! Post it up on the official HST 2009 thread on the Official LOMOTION (Singapore) forums! Make it sound fun and exciting! Every picture taken should be posted up BY Day Three.
RULES: Multiexposure is allowed. Mods that increase the number of images you have at the end are not allowed (i.e. 24 jpeg images because your mod split the image in half). No permanent mods to the mask.
DAY TWO AND THREE:
1. Shoot your roll of film on Day Two/Three if you wish! You’ve got the whole 2 days for the camera to yourself! However, you are only allowed to shoot the roll only in your designated location, that is, your area. If there is another person who lives near your area, make sure you don’t go to the same places!
2. Go shooting, baby! Only 12 shots!
3. When you’re done shooting, go back and write a reflection in the logbook. Do whatever you want, but make sure you don’t leave huge ink stains that seep through the entire book(place a few other sheets of paper under the page you’re writing on if you’re using inky markers or pens/paint), or take up so many pages so its not enough for 25 people to share. ): We WILL take action.
4. Keep your roll of used film in the designated zip-lock bag. [Note: there is NO NEED to rewind 120 film. Just keep advancing until all the film is rolled around the spool.]
5. Remind the next participant about the meet-up via phone call/msn/sms! Ask him/her to reply to confirm he/she has seen your message!
DAY FOUR:
1. Alright, time to say goodbye to your camera! NO holding it for more than 3 days (NOT 96 hours)! If you require more time, ask the organizers for permission first, providing a good reason why you deserve more time.
2. Write/draw/paste your reflections and whatever msg you want in the logbook. Stay off the exterior, though! No making funky marks on the cover of the book. That includes the back too.
3. Inform Azzzy via sms that you are going to pass the HST 2009 Package on to the next participant that day. Let him know where and when.
4. Meet-up time! Say hello to the next participant! Hello!
5. Pass the next participant the clear folder with the Terms and Conditions.
6. Repeat from Day One, except now YOU are the participant passing on the HST 2009 Package!
Thank you for participating in Holga: Singapore Tour 2009! We hope you had a good time! We will update you again when we have prepared the coffee table book for printing, and it is up for ordering!
On a serious note,
Should there be any problems with the package in any way, or if you find that the previous participant seems to have been flouting the rules, do inform Azzzy via SMS, email, or PM as soon as possible. Azzzy’s number is: 92270469.
Bottom line is, before you do anything to the camera, before doing anything creative that may go against the rules set, seek permission from the organizers FIRST. If we say no, then no. We have the final say. Thank you, and let's hope the 1st Holga Tour for Singapore will have no screwups!

thanks azzzy & captain for organising such a great event, keeping the LomotionSG spirit alive.
we all know that this event is gonna be a lengthy one, so to keep things updated, we've came up with the idea of 'documenting' the holga's tour (literally 'holga, the camera').
anyway, as mentioned by Azzzy.. here's wat each person have to do :-
